The Kellogg Executive MBA

More than half a century ago, Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University became one of the first business schools to offer executive education. Today, the school’s executive programs have continued to excel and are repeatedly ranked highly by The Wall Street Journal, U.S. News & World Report, The Financial Times, and BusinessWeek.

The Kellogg executive MBA (EMBA) is currently offered on two campuses: the Evanston Campus at Northwestern University, and the Miami Campus, open only to Kellogg EMBA candidates. In these two campuses are four cumulative schedules to choose from: a September start at the Evanston Campus; a September start at the Miami Campus; a January start at the Evanston Campus; and a January start at the Miami Campus. Regardless of the chosen schedule, students are required to fulfill the same rigorous guidelines for admission and, once accepted, will have access to the same distinguished faculty, career resources, and alumni network that includes the likes of alumnus James L. Allen, co-founder of the consultancy firm Booz Allen Hamilton.

In addition, Kellogg has global partnerships that offer joint EMBA programs with four international universities: The School of Business and Management at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in Hong Kong; The Recanati Graduate School of Management at Tel Aviv University in Israel; The WHU-Otto Beisheim School of Management in Germany; and the Schulich School of Business at York University in Toronto, Canada. Out of these joint EMBA programs, which are offered by Kellogg and are capable of granting joint Kellogg degrees, three have been ranked highly by the Financial Times (Kellogg-Hong Kong EMBA ranked at #1 worldwide, Kellogg-Schulich ranked #11 worldwide, and Kellogg-WHU Germany ranked #17 worldwide).

Whether students complete the curriculum at the Evanston Campus, Miami Campus, or at any of the global partnership international campuses, every student is required to complete the same ten core classes. Because of this, each student is able to interact with and learn from some of the world’s leading businesspersons and thinkers on issues that are affecting our world’s current economy, local entrepreneurship, and future marketing and investing abilities. As the executive MBA program is aimed toward high-level and mid-career professionals with an average of 10 years’ work experience, Kellogg EMBAs are placed side-by-side with the highest caliber of thought and with those who will doubtlessly play key actors in the future of the global market.
